One of those locations is in Icheon, South Korea. Icheon is less than 35 miles from Seoul, the capital of South Korea, and has a growing population of more than 240,000 people. According to USSI Global’s Greg Palm, senior vice president of broadcast and network solutions, USSI Global officially opened its warehouse space in May 2023.   

USSI Global’s warehouse primarily focuses on housing satellite antennas, which are used to deliver affordable internet to regions across the world. The warehouse is centrally located near major manufacturing districts and well-positioned to reach all major seaports and airports.

“USSI Global sees a great future in the Satellite market,” said Palm. “We have key partnerships with organizations on both the supply and demand chains. We plan to be helping people improve their connectivity for years to come.”

Why South Korea? Not only is it one of the top countries in the world for exports, but USSI Global has strong relationships, dating back more than a decade, with multiple electronics manufacturers headquartered in South Korea. “USSI Global is a key strategic partner, managing a supply chain for OEM products manufactured in South Korea. Products pass through our logistics center, which operates as a distribution hub for the APAC [Asia-Pacific] region and other forward-stocking locations around the world,” Palm explained.
